How we test
- Runtime tests. We plug in real appliances and run each station to zero, three times, and publish the average.
- Charging tests. Wall, car, and solar — timed from empty to full, in real sunlight.
- Solar input. We measure actual watts from panels, not the number on the box.
- UPS switchover. We time the cutover with an oscilloscope-class meter. Under 20 ms or it fails.
- Cost per Wh. Every pick is judged on usable watt-hours per dollar, not marketing.
