After Google decided to delay their 2.0 software update by a year, major hardware companies like Huawei, LG and Lenovo have planned to suspend any new releases in the fall, leaving us to wonder if HTC will do the same. The first images of a prototype for the HTC android wear leaked years ago, and now with the pictures of the watch being leaked, we get the feeling that HTC may finally enter the smart watch arena.
According to the picture, the watch has both the HTC and the Under Armor Company logo embedded in it. This doesn’t come as a surprise, the two companies have already partnered it the past. Their new ‘Halfbeak’ watch also seems to have a built-in heart rate sensor. We have yet to receive any official announcements from HTC and Under Armour but after waiting two years for any information, we don’t mind waiting a little longer.
